MSM Fundraising acts as a service provider to our Clients. The fundraising organizations using our platform control the campaigns and the data collected through those campaigns.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate fundraising campaigns and process transactions.

A. Participant Information

  • Student name
  • Email address and/or mobile phone number

B. Customer / Order Information

  • Purchaser name
  • Shipping address
  • Order details

C. Client (Organization) Information

  • Organization and administrator contact details
  • Sales and reporting data

D. Communications Data

  • Email and SMS message records related to fundraising campaigns

3. Payment Information

MSM Fundraising does not store credit card information.

When a payment is made:

  • Credit card data is transmitted directly to our payment processor (NMI)
  • We receive a transaction ID and authorization confirmation only
  • Credit card numbers are never stored in our databases

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

  • Operate and manage fundraising campaigns

  • Participant and campaign data is typically deleted at the end of each fundraising season
  • Email and contact data are not retained beyond their operational use

8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Our platform is used by schools and may involve students under 13.

  • Student accounts may be created by schools or parents/guardians
  • For children under 13, accounts are generally created and managed by a parent or authorized school representative
  • We collect limited information (name and contact info only) necessary for participation

If a parent or guardian believes information has been collected improperly, they may contact us to request deletion.

9. SMS and Email Communications

We may send:

  • Transactional messages (required for orders and campaign participation)
  • Optional fundraising-related reminders or updates

Users can opt out of non-essential communications at any time:

  • SMS: by replying STOP

We do not send unrelated marketing messages.
